About
Lorewheel turns any gathering into the night everyone remembers.
Lorewheel makes games for the moments people come together — to break the ice with strangers, bring out the stories friends have never heard, and bind a group a little closer every time it meets. Everyone plays with what they know about each other, so the laughs are yours, the surprises are real, and the best lines are saved for next time.
What it is
No trivia, no question bank to memorise: every game is built from what the people at the table privately write. Thirty games you play on one shared screen, passing a device around or answering on your own phones. Everyone writes, votes or predicts in private; then the room guesses whose words are whose.
The best lines get sealed into your group's Almanac. They come back in later games — a year later, sometimes — and the room has to remember who said them. Predictions open the next time you meet. At the end of the year, the Almanac can become a printed Yearbook.
Who it's for
Families at the holidays, dinner clubs, camps and cabins, classrooms, teams, reunions, wedding tables, scout troops and run clubs — any group that meets more than once and would like to know each other a little better each time. The scoring is built so a nine-year-old can beat their grandfather.
What we believe
Your group is the content. A competitor can copy every game here and still not have a single group's Almanac.
Free to play. Every game, phone rooms, the Almanac and Lore Duels cost nothing. You pay only to keep the Almanac online for good, to print it, or to run many groups at once.
No accounts, no ads, no analytics. A group is a secret link, not a sign-up. What we keep, and for how long, is spelled out on the privacy page.
How it's made — including the AI
We'd rather tell you than have you wonder.
No AI reads what you write. Nothing your group types is sent to an AI model, and no model runs while you play.
The artwork is AI-generated. Each game's key art was made with an image model and then titled in real type. The art never shows your group's words.
The narrators are synthetic voices. The six hosts are pre-recorded lines made with a text-to-speech model — fixed lines like “Pass the device”, never your group's words. You can switch them off. The music is generated live in your browser from code, not by an AI model.
Much of the code was written with AI coding tools, then tested by playing the games through, by automated checks, and in a browser before anything ships.
Legacy Letters are real voices. The recordings you make are your family's own, never synthetic, and we never listen to them.
